IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SLIDE WITHOUT HOOD
The hood can also be described as a channeling device which directs the passenger into a seated position to prevent them from walking or tumbling onto the slide. If you are purchasing a slide without the hood you must create a channeling and gripping component at the slide entrance to facilitate getting onto the slide. A horizontal bar at the top of the slide will force the passenger to crunch down before entering the slide. It’s a good safety precaution for your family and friends.
HARDWARE
Included with the slide is all the hardware needed to connect the slide sections. The hardware to connect the slide to a deck or ground is NOT included. Hardware to attach to your deck or landing is readily available at local hardware stores, and varies depending on your specific construction.
INSTALLATION
We recommend consulting with a licensed general contractor to evaluate your space and design for safety in all installation.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All the sizes and shapes available in our store can be delivered to residential areas, and the driver can lower the heavy cargo to the curbside with the liftgate on the back of the truck without your assistance. Someone does need to be home to accept and sign for the delivery. Please note that it is curbside delivery only. You are responsible for moving the cargo from the curbside to your house.
Our slides are custom made per order and have a typical lead time of 8 -12 weeks from the time you submit your order until it is shipped.
