CYNTHIA HOLIEN | ARTIST
I am an intuitive, abstract expressionist artist, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I paint with acrylics on paper, synthetic YUPO paper, and canvas.
I believe that art is what makes a home more human. Art can enhance our lives, show our personalities, evoke thoughts and emotions, and improve our well-being. It is my desire to bring value and meaning into your homes with my paintings.
Growing up in Saint Paul, Minnesota, I have always had great curiosity and appreciation for art and design. It wasn’t until I reached my late 50s that I wanted to become an artist. I have returned home to the Twin Cities after living in South Dakota for 30+ years. I live with my husband David, and our dog companion Frances, who inspire and encourage me daily.
GABRIELA NOELLE | ARTIST
Cuban-American artist, Gabriela Noelle (1990) creates playable art and interactive objects inspired by childhood. From functional pieces like indoor swings to three-dimensional sculptures in public spaces, all pieces inspire the viewer to see the world through the eyes of a child. This childlike perspective prompts the viewer to use their imagination, exercise curiosity, and create a bond with their environment.
Gabriela views her work in lucite, mixed media and textiles as a practice in preservation, serving to document our time on Earth for future generations. Her recent exhibitions and collaborations include Just a Space curated by Sarah Andelman, Pop Up Park at Ten over Six, a radiating mobile in Nashville International Airport, a collection with London based designer, Mira Mikati and a playful series for Champion.
