EDITH's INTERVIEW

Q: Where are you located?
A: Edina, MN (10 mins from Minneapolis)

Q: How many children do you have and how old are they?
A: Three - 7, 6, and 4 years old.

Q: What inspired you to create this playroom?
A: My kids. Instagram posts of people’s play rooms. My kids like to go to a ninja warriors gym 5 days a week and it’s much easier to have them play at home some afternoons! My husband and I get to play too!

Q: Did you design it yourself?
A: Yes. I looked at the spacing of bars and obstacles at the ninja warriors gym to make sure the course I made was challenging but not impossible. I got feedback from my kids before installing and made changes accordingly.

Q: What materials were required that were not included in your Project Playroom order?
A: Screws for the wall and ceiling and a 5/16 Allen key wrench.

Q: How did you first hear about Project Playroom?
A: Instagram

Q: What was your experience like setting up and installing our products?
A: It was fun and challenging in some ways. The contractor and I ran into some obstacles in the ceiling but he used various stud finder tools to ensure he was drilling into studs and not air ducts, water pipes, etc.

Q: Any design advice for other parents?
A: Ask your kids what they want! Make sure it’s challenging and not impossible so they can grow into it. Squeeze in as many obstacles as you can to make it fun!

Q: Did the products you ordered arrive in a timely manner?
A: Yes! Perfect timing for the cold and rainy spring months.

Q: How long did it take you from design to installation?
A: I spent a few weeks working on the design to ensure I had the correct spacing and bought enough monkey bars and rock walls. "In the future, I’d like to order two more ninja bars, another set of rock wall holds, another ceiling hanger and a rope."
